Route n. 1 winds north-east of Montaione. It’s actually the stretch that links the ring routes “Gli Orti” and “Gambassi Terme,” and it crosses the Orlo and Rio Pietroso streams before climbing up to Gambassi Terme. From here, the route descends towards Montaione as you enjoy beautiful views of the Valdelsa and the hills overlooking Florence.
