Giro d'Italia - the stage of dirt roads

On May 9, the Giro d'Italia will pass through the historic center of Asciano!

The long-awaited historic bicycle race will cross the beautiful Sienese territories, including some stretches of the Strade Bianche immersed in the Crete Senesi, in what has also been renamed the "stage of the dirt roads", until it reaches the Municipality of Asciano, Pievina and the historic center of the town.

The passage of the athletes is scheduled between 3:45 and 5:10 p.m.

Specifically, cyclists will pass through:

• Pievina
• part of Lauretana
• the historic center of Asciano: Corso Giacomo Matteotti, Via Roma, Via Martiri della Libertà

These are the parking lots and streets that will remain open during the passage of cyclists:

• parking Le Fonti
• entry and exit for Buonconvento
• entry and exit for Rapolano Terme and Siena-Bettole
