Once arrived in Montecarlo, we will start our tour by visiting this typical medieval village placed on the hill that overlooks Val di Nievole and Lucca's plain.
Then, you'll reach the cellar where the owner, or a qualified guide, will introduce you inside the life of the winery. During the visit, you will learn about all the secrets of Italian wine making and learn how red and white wine are produced here.
You will visit the ancient cellar that nowadays is the unique real wine museum on these hills made in the 20° century.
NOTE: This experience is for small groups
We start our food and wine tasting tour and we move to the tuscan countryside, where you will hear about the first clarification on italian wine regulation with its Docg, Doc and Igt wines.
Then we'll visit the Montecarlo Village
Once arrived at the tuscan winery, you'll be welcomed by the owner or employers that will show you with the vineyards and the aging cellar, and will describe each bottle of wine you are going to taste. Every wine will be paired with a selection of local foods, bread and extra virgin olive oil.
We will drop off your group to your Hotel / Accommodation in Lucca.
