TuscanySafe - Information for a vacation in complete safety. Find out more
Who thinks that Montalcino is only Brunello wine is wrong. Montalcino is a story made of medieval battles, of ancient fortresses, of churches dedicated to the Madonna - local patron -, of alleys that open up with spectacular views of the Valdorcia, of art and culture, of gastronomy based on oil and honey. A local guide will lead you to where you would otherwise never have gone, without denying anyone who wanted it a taste of Brunello or Rosso di Montalcino at the end of the tour. If you wish, we can end the visit near the Abbey of Sant'Antimo, a jewel of Romanesque art.
Warning: in compliance with the rules to limit the spread of Covid-19, during the visit the guide will wear a mask and / or visor and will wear gloves. Visitors are requested to have a mask to be used in the event that the safety distance cannot be maintained.
The price is per group.
We accept payments in advance or in cash at the end of the tour.
To make a reservation we need the clients' name, telephone number and email address.
From Piazza Cavour we will continue towards Piazza del Popolo, overlooked by the medieval Palazzo del Popolo, and then we will go up to the Fortress, from which we will enjoy a spectacular panorama towards the city and the surrounding countryside.
