The Via Francigena from San Miniato to San Gimignano
Two-day tour on the ancient route
An extraordinary weekend walking between San Miniato and San Gimignano through two of the most beautiful stages of the Tuscan Via Francigena.
In San Miniato we will admire the beautiful view from the Tower of Frederick II before setting off on our stage will see us walk along the beautiful ridges of the Elsa Valley, encountering the two important "submansiones" of the Pieve di Coiano and the Pieve a Chianni, before arriving in Gambassi Terme. Dinner and overnight stay in the hostel.
The day after, after the breakfast, and departure through the beauty of the scenery that characterizes this stage: we will arrive at the Sanctuary of Pancole before going up to the characteristic village of Collemucioli and from here to the enchanting Pieve di Cellole.
Arrival in San Gimignano, packed lunch and last view from the Rocca di Montestaffoli. Return to San Miniato by bus.
The tour will take place on Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19, 2024 with departure at 8 a.m.

What to bring: Hiking clothing in layers suitable for the season, hiking shoes, poles, camera, backpack, personal items, change of clothes. Please want to communicate to the guide the existence of any particular disease and / or use of life-saving drugs

The guide reserves the right to make changes to the hike to ensure the safety of the group, or to cancel the hike in case of bad weather and/or alertness.
The excursion will be confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 8 people and a maximum of 16 people.
