Enjoy a scenic active hike in the Tuscan countryside, a little slice of heaven a few steps out of Florence and into Mugello area. Visit a family-run organic farm and experience the Chianti Rufina wine and the extra-virgin olive oil.
Nature lovers can get out and spend some hours hiking in the Tuscan hills along silent country roads, through vineyards, olive groves and medieval villages, immersed in a land rich in history, where the Etruscan and Roman people lived in the past.
Halfway through the hike you'll stop at the agricultural estate, meet the wine makers and learn about their own specific methods and approaches to winemaking. You have the opportunity to visit the vineyard, the cellar and take your time to sit, relax and enjoy the wine and extra-virgin olive oil tasting while the owner explains you their characteristics.
You have also the opportunity to taste a typical Tuscan light lunch with local meats, cheese and Tuscan bread with extra-virgin olive oil.

We meet at the train station of Dicomano, a delightful village of medieval origin at the foothills of the Tuscan Apennines.

The agricultural estate is located on the hill of Frascole, into the Chianti Rufina area, not far from the important Etruscan archeological site, that proves the ancient origin of the cultivation of this land.
