Giro d’Italia in Lucca
Guided tour for amateurs in the Tuscan hills
We offer you a cycling tour designed for the Giro d'Italia (Tour of Italy) 2024, with the arrival of the fifth stage in front of the walls of Lucca and the departure of the sixth stage in Viareggio. A total of 7 days by bike to discover the city of Lucca, its splendid surroundings and its hidden treasures, touching two stages of the Giro d'Italia.
Note:
- It is recommended to wear sports clothing
- Each route, in terms of kilometers and meters of altitude difference, will be studied and agreed based on the abilities and level of preparation of the cyclists
- We usually suggest starting the route in the morning, this way you can be back to the hotel in the early afternoon and have some free time available.
The indicated price is valid for one person (minimum 2 people required).

- Overnight stay in a double room at the 3* San Marco hotel in Lucca (6 nights)

- High-end Pinarello road bikes (Shimano 105 Di2, 12-speed, 50-34 / 11-32 t)

Meeting point
Plan
- Day 1
Check-in at the hotel. Ride - 30-kilometre tour/bike test in the afternoon. Return to the hotel and dinner
- Day 2
After breakfast, departure for Monte Carlo. Return to the hotel and dinner
- Day 3
After breakfast, departure for the northern mountains. You will participate in the 5th stage of the Giro d'Italia in Lucca. Return to hotel and dinner
- Day 4
After breakfast, departure for Viareggio. You will participate in the start of stage 6 of the Giro in Viareggio, finishing in Lucca. Post-ride massage. Return to hotel and dinner
- Day 5
After breakfast, departure for the Passo del Cipollaio. The race will end in Lucca. Return to hotel and dinner
- Day 6
After breakfast, departure for Monte Serra and Pisa. Wine tasting at a local farm. The ride ends at the hotel. Return to hotel and dinner
- Day 7
After breakfast, goodbyes and short final ride (40/50 kilometres)
