Garfagnana is an area that connects the Apennines to the Tyrrhenian Sea, with different cultures to be discovered. Romanesque churches and castles, museums, hermitages, fortified villages between the mountains and the sea, are scattered throughout the territory. There is also a very rich selection of works of art and monuments.
We will travel by train along the Lucca - Aulla railway, also known as the "Garfagnana Railway", to reach small and large towns where local history and traditions are preserved by local communities.
