Camaiore and the Via Francigena, in the footsteps of the pilgrims
Walk, guided tour of the Museum of Sacred Art and tasting of traditional products

Camaiore is a municipality of over 30,000 inhabitants that stretches from the fascinating peaks of the Apuan Alps to the Tyrrhenian Sea, in the heart of Versilia, an area rich in charm and tradition.

Its territory can be ideally divided into four large areas: the Seimiglia hills, the capital with its valley, the Capezzano plain and the Lido coastline. In fact, in few other places in the world can you find a similar combination of landscapes and scenery: from the sea to the hills, from the mountains to the lake, from the beach to the Apuan Park.

Starting from the Badia, we will discover the stories of saints, wayfarers and warriors with an entrance and guided tour of the Museum of Sacred Art, a treasure trove of precious works that are still little known. Finally, just like the ancient pilgrims, at the end of the visit we will have a meal and taste the traditional products of Camaiore cuisine.
