Jump back in time and follow Dante's footsteps! You will visit some places that inspired him in writing his Comedy.
- On the first day you will leave for Quota on a bike excursion. You will pass by Raggiolo, following the road that passes from San Martino in Tremoleto. After visiting the village of Raggiolo, you will head to the Fregnan Winery where a tasting of local wines with a small buffet will await.
- The second day includes a walking tour characterized by the reading and commentary of famous passages from the Divine Comedy that are inspired by the places you will explore. In the morning you will visit the hamlet of Poppi and its famous Castello dei Conti Guidi, which cherishes a miniature reconstruction of the Battle of Campaldino (Dante actually participated in this battle!). In the afternoon you will visit the Church and the Castle of Romena. The latter houses the prisons that inspired the circles of Dante's Inferno.
- On the third day you will visit the small and picturesque village of Stia and embark on a cycling tour in the Casentino countryside. In the afternoon you will visit the ARCA Archaeological Museum in Bibbiena.
During this weekend you will stay at the Poggio di Dante, not far from Poppi.
