Empoli is home to an exhibition dedicated to the musician Ferruccio Busoni

Casa Buosni, in Empoli, is the childhood home of the 19th-century musician Ferruccio Busoni, conserving rare manuscripts, original libretti, letters and hundreds of period photographs. Visitors to the museum can admire the marble bust of the musician by the sculptor Antonini and a piano Busoni played on during his stays in Empoli.

In 1993, the Fondo Felice Boghen was added to the collection, bought by the Ferruccio Busoni Centre of Music Studies, housed in the same building. This part of the collection includes autographed letters by famous figures in the history of European turn-of-the-century music and scores from the period.
